After four years of painstaking restoration work, Argentina's celebrated opera house, the Teatro Colon, is due to reopen its doors on Monday. It comes just ahead of the 200th anniversary of the country's revolution, which lead to its independence in 1816. The auditorium is considered one of the most prestigious in Latin America, having played host to such greats as Luciano Pavarotti and Maria Callas.
