FIAC 2011 will take over the Grand Palais, the Tuileries Gardens and also the Jardin des Plantes in Paris from October 20th to 23rd. More than 165 galleries and 2,800 artists will be represented at the 38th edition of FIAC in Paris. This famous contemporary Art Fair showcases the best in modern and contemporary art and is one of the leading launchpads for up-and-coming artists in the world. Artworks are arranged in chronological order and range from electronic arts through painting, sculpture, installations, soundworks and conceptual art. The fair attracts more than 85,000 visitors each year. In 2011, galleries across Paris will present new exhibitions and open their doors from 6 to 10 PM for the FIAC “Night Out” on Thursday, October 20.
